The Encounter Profile lists encounters for a patient in reverse chronological order. This screen allows the users to create new encounters, modify and move existing encounters, and access other patient information including orders. The information displayed for each encounter is easily customizable and can contain as much or as little information as desired. The profile and entry forms begin with patient-identifying data. Drug reactions, allergies and active problems are always available by clicking on the "Allergies/Problem List" button. Each application screen contains a floating menu which provides commands specific to the current screen and access to all other parts of the application.
