The "Problem" and "Drug Use" sections of the history show how medEncounter provides a list of coded choices from which to select. In these examples, a pop-up menu of the most common illegal drugs is displayed for easy selection. Multiple selections can be made directly from the pop-up menu. medEncounter is designed to record as much or as little detail as needed. In
the "Drug Use" section of the patient's medical history, a new drug use field is
automatically opened when data is entered in an existing field.
