IT Infrastructure Business Critical Services

Solutions are a combination of computer hardware, software, networks and MsdC healthcare applications.  Working with our customers, MsdC, provides a single point of responsibility for all solution components we provide in our packages.  We coordinate service delivery with system hardware/software vendors (such as HP, IBM, Dell, etc.) to provide appropriate coverage and levels of service to support the solution.  The Platform Business Critical services provides 24x7, rapid response support for all vendor system hardware and system software.  This includes servers, client PCs/laptops/PDAs, operating system(s), layered vendor applications (e.g. HP Openview, TruCluster, Storage Area Network (SAN) RAID subsystems, etc.).  This service complements applications and solution services provided for MsdC applications.

MsdC Training

Implementing a new medical encounter solution is a major investment and a significant change in most environments.  Training is a form of change management to help make the most of your investment and prepare the users of the system for full productivity in the evolved environment.  Just as our systems are designed to work with the natural work-flow of your environment, the system is designed to add to productivity - not create obstacles.  We focus our training on what is needed to accomplish tasks through the new system in order to create actual job competence.  This integrated approach addresses the whole environment to aid the clinical process.

Training classes available include: end-user medEntry specialty module applications, medAnalyze and medOrder applications, security and systems administration, help-desk and others. Since many of the medEncounter applications are customized for each customer we design individual training materials and provide course development.

Training delivery modes include computer based training, classroom training, self-paced courses, web-based seminars and other methods. Training material and courses are typically supplied with the solution.
