When the orders have been received in an ancillary, a button is added to the providers' order control screens so they can view the results and ancillaries' internal status of an order when they are electronically available. This profile shows all orders for the selected encounter along with the requesting location, requesting physician, order priority, and current status. All order processing, including entry, signature, renewal, etc. is done from this profile. There are many other order views available including orders scheduled to expire for the patient, for the unit, or for the provider; requests needing verification for the patient, an ancillary, the unit, or the provider; and all orders for a patient within a specified time frame.
